Are farriers good horse trainers?

Well, not *all* farriers, but would think a farrier would have enough experience to train/help train a horse? My farrier says he's broke a horse before (a five year old Arabian --I'm not sure if he was a Stallion or Gelding, though--, he broke him for a lady, she asked him to once and he said "no," thinking she'd find a different trainer. Then he felt bad because he saw her trying to break him and broke him for her). I like him, I like how he treats my horse (not aggressive, but he lets my horse know who's boss), and I was going to try and work for him this summer. Do you think instead of money, he would offer to help train my horse (the right head position, ect. ect.)? I wanted money for lessons, but hey, he might give me lessons, too, and the barn might let me work for them for lessons.
