White dot on inside on upper lip?

iv had a painless white dot on the inside of my upper lip for a few months it hasnt gone away it doesnt appear to be a canker sore . i prolly should go to the doctor but my mom said that theres lots of bacteria in the mouth so it could have caused it but it just seems unnatural to me that it wont go away , i brush and use antiseptic mouth wash every day. so im pretty concerned on what it could be . any insight would be appreciated
