Is this Canon XT worth $350?

As long as it's all okay. I'd request to try it before you buy it. Just ask for them to have the battery charged so you can test it. They probably want to get rid of it and a camera shop proably offers crap for it. It's a decent deal though. I'd go for it if everything is okay.
