Rescue me season one 1st episode "Guts" changed???

So I watched rescue me "Guts" a while ago on the dvd set, and I remember seeing the towers collapse and Tommy's cousin died. But now, I bought another dvd set (because the last one wasn't mine) and I'm watching the episode again and it's not in there?? I also looked on Wikipedia and it had an episode synopsis and it said that the 1st episode of Rescue me was famous for recreating the towers collapsing on television. I'm wondering if they cut it out when they made more dvds or what? Does anyone know what's going on or what i'm talking about?! I'm going crazy here. hahaha
