What does it mean to pout?

To pout is to push your lips out as if you are going to kiss someone, however, when someone says "you're pouting" that means that you are making this face but in an upset manner. If your mad about something you might also cross your arms and just look unhappy, that's pouting. Kids do it mostly because it gets attention.
