Why did Christians feel the need to invent doctrine specific keywords like ‘evil’ and ‘sin’?

These are words that only have a meaning to believers of Christian myths and can only be explained by making the listener believe in other concepts for which there is no tangible evidence like heaven, hell and an afterlife. Is it like when you tell a lie and you have to tell another two lies to cover it up and before you know it, you’re living in a world of lies?
