Zune 120GB can't recognize Kanji(Japanese)?

I've slowly been transferring all my stuff over to my new Zune 120GB i got for my birthday... but now that i've put some of my music onto the actual device i realize that all my Kanji just shows up as boxes so it's nearly impossible for me to read any of my music! It reads fine in the Zune pc software but once it's on the Zune.... unreadable. HELP!!??
